 Orlando, Florida

 The best option for flying into Florida is flying into Orlando. This airport is near Disneyworld and Universal Studios Orlando, so it is a great place to start your vacation. Many flights are also available from Europe, and you can usually find good deals if you book in advance. This is also one of the cheapest desinations in February.

You can quickly drive to Tallahassee or Jacksonville from Orlando if that is your final destination.

 

  Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport

Fort Lauderdale is a great place to fly into if you want to visit Miami or Tampa, and Fort Myers. This airport is generally one of the cheapest airports to fly into from Europe!

From Fort Lauderdale, you can easily visit Miami, Key West, or take a road trip up the coast of Florida.

 Atlanta, Georgia 

Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson Airport is one of the busiest airports in the world, but it is also a great place to fly into the US. The airport offers hundreds of flights a day to and from Europe and almost any US destination. This makes it a great place to fly to other domestic locations within the US.

From Atlanta, you can easily reach Charleston, South Carolina, or Savannah, Georgia.

 

 LaGuardia Airport, New York 

LaGuardia is one of the busiest airports in the US, but it is also one of the cheapest places to fly into and fly out of. Plus, LaGuardia puts you minutes away from the heart of New York City and all there is to do in the Big Apple.

From LaGuardia, you can easily visit NYC with a shuttle. Or head to Boston, Massachusetts, or really anywhere in New England.

Chicago O’Hare Airport, Illinois

O’Hare is one of the busiest airports in the world, but it is also a great place to fly into the US. This airport has many international flights and a great transit system into downtown Chicago.

Chicago is a great airport to fly into from overseas. You can find tons of things to do in Chicago and tons of quick and easy road trips to other midwest cities.

Philadelphia International Airport, Pennsylvania

 Philadelphia is a great place to fly into if you are looking for a cheap alternative to other east coast airports. Philadelphia International Airport is smaller than New York airports but often has better prices.

An easy drive from Philadelphia is New York City and Washington DC.

 

Long Beach-Daugherty Field Airport, California 

This airport is located in the Los Angeles area and is a great place to fly into if you are looking for a cheaper flight than LAX. Some flights are available from Europe, and catching the right day can be very inexpensive.

Long Beach is an easy drive from Los Angeles, and all there is to do. It is also an easy drive to Disneyland.

 

Dallas-Love Field Airport, Texas 

This airport is located in the Dallas area and is often cheaper than the Dallas-Fort Worth Airport. While it does have fewer flights, the price is worth working out when you can visit.

From Dallas, it is an easy drive to Austin or Houston. Both cities offer a lot to do and see. If you are looking for a more extended road trip, you can drive to New Orleans from Dallas.

 

CVG- Cincinnati Airport

 

This airport is located in Cincinnati and is one of the cheapest airports to fly in the US. While the airport is not as large as Chicago, many flights are available from Europe at a reasonable price if you book in advance. Cincinnati puts you in a different part of the Midwest, and there is plenty to do there!

Cincinnati is centrally located, so there are many different road trip options. You can drive to Indianapolis, Louisville, Lexington, or even Nashville.

 

 Harry Reid International Airport, Nevada 

Harry Reid International Airport is located in Las Vegas and can put you in downtown Las Vegas at no time. It is the perfect airport if you want to visit Las Vegas but out of the way if you’re going to see lots of other states. However, you can drive from Las Vegas to Los Angeles or San Diego. Plus, Zion’s National Park is only a road trip away.
