The Snæfellsnes Peninsula is one of the best places to visit in Iceland if you want to see a little bit of everything without driving all over the country. Often called “Iceland in Miniature,” the peninsula has mountains, waterfalls, lava fields, black sand beaches, tiny fishing villages, dramatic cliffs, and the glacier-capped Snæfellsjökull volcano.
