Florence is one of my favorite cities in Italy, but some of my favorite memories from that trip happened when we got in the car and explored beyond it. We wandered through Siena’s gorgeous cathedral, walked along Lucca’s walls, ate our way through Bologna, and stopped whenever a Tuscan town looked too charming to pass up.
