Royal Caribbean’s food game is strong. While there have been cuts in cruise food standards across the industry, Royal Caribbean is generally considered to be a great food ship.

Family dinner can be accomodated in the main dining rooms which are very kid friendly and some of the ships have great kid meus. But with small kids, I often find that the buffet is the way to go. There is no waiting and so many more options. My young kids are generally happiest with quick meals featuring their favorite things like mac and cheese, hamburgers, and pizza. (All of which you can find at the buffet.)
