You can easily fly into either SLC airport or Las Vegas airport. From Salt Lake City, you will probably want to start at Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. You would then go to Capitol Reef and onto Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park. From Las Vegas, it would be the exact opposite order.

Capitol Reef National Park is located about two hours from Moab. You will want to stop at Goblin Valley on your way over. It is an amazing state park.
Capitol Reef has some amazing glamping options. You can stay in a covered wagon or even a teepee. Capitol Reef has a lot of historical sites within the park. It also has deep canyons you can hike through. It is typically less busy compared to the other 4 parks.
Zion National Park is amazing! The views are unbelievable. People from all over the world come here to see this incredible area. Chicago

Chicago is such a gem in the Midwest and a great place to visit this summer. Here are a few suggestions on what to see and do while you’re there:
Visit a Museum: Chicago has a number of world-class museums that shouldn’t be missed. Among the most popular are the Shedd Aquarium, Field Museum, Art Institute, and Museum of Science and Industry. Check one (or more) out while you’re in town!
Go to a Cubs Game: With baseball season just getting started in the spring, it’s the perfect time to go to a Cubs game at Wrigley Field. Root, root, root for the home team at the second-oldest ballpark in America. (How cool is that?!)
Take the Architecture Boat Tour: Of all the tourist attractions and activities Chicago has to offer, the Architecture Boat Tour is quite possibly the favorite among locals. This 1.5-hour tour offers stunning views of the city and great history and information on Chicago and its architecture.
See the Skyline From a Skyscraper: To see incredible views of the city (while laying on glass if you choose!), visit the Sears Tower (Willis Tower) and Hancock Building.
Lincoln Park Zoo: For being one of the few free zoos in America, Lincoln Park Zoo has quite a display of exhibits. You’ll find all kinds of animals and educational information here. A visit to this zoo is time well spent.

Siesta Key Beach is one of the top beaches in Florida, so if you’re looking for a warm place to get away with soft, white sand and clear turquoise water, you can’t go wrong visiting this beach.. Unlike many beaches in the area, the sand at Siesta Key Beach is made almost entirely of pure quartz, so even on the hottest days, the sand remains cool underneath your feet.
When visiting, you will probably want to spend all day at the beach, but there are many more things to do there. Water activities such as parasailing, jet skiing, boating, and snorkeling are some of the top things to do. If you want a slower-paced water activity, kayaking, paddleboarding, or a dolphin tour might be the best options.

If you’ve done all of the water and beach activities, head over to Siesta Key Village, where you will find shops, cafes, and restaurants. With about 100 different places, there is no shortage of great places to eat and places where you can find the perfect souvenir.
One of the best-rated hotels is the Hyatt Residence Club Sarasota if you choose to stay on the island. The hotel has great amenities, and guests can enjoy the private beach area. However, if you choose to find a place off the island, Sarasota is a short drive away, with plenty of great places to stay and things to do.

Santa Fe, New Mexico
Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Located along the Atlantic coast in southeastern Florida, Fort Lauderdale has been one of the hottest summer break destinations in the United States for decades. It is known for its beautiful beaches, average springtime high temperatures in the 80-85 Range, and hotels with stunning ocean views.
One such hotel, the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort, has 347 suites and spacious family accommodations. In addition to separate living and bedroom spaces, kitchenettes, and private balconies, families will enjoy the rooftop pool and hot tubs overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
Across the A1A scenic byway from the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort, Fort Lauderdale Beach is the place to play in the sand and surf or stroll along the beachfront promenade on a sunny day.
Within two miles of the beach, you’ll find family-friendly restaurants, ice cream shops, and museums along Las Olas Boulevard and in Downtown Fort Lauderdale. At the Museum of Discovery and Science, kids can explore interactive exhibits to feel the force of hurricane winds, watch otters play, and learn about Florida’s habitats and wildlife.
Nearby, nature preserves offer more opportunities to see Florida’s wildlife — in its natural habitat! On a thrilling airboat ride at Everglades Holiday Park, you’ll zoom across the River of Grass and spy 14-foot alligators in the mangrove forest.
In addition to airboat rides, water activities are abundant in the “Venice of America.” Along the canals of the Intracoastal Waterway, take in views of mega yachts, sailboats, and cruise ships on a Carrie B or Jungle Queen Riverboat sightseeing cruise. Then end a day on the water by taking the Water Taxi to the 15th Street Fisheries, where you can feed giant tarpons after eating a delicious dockside seafood dinner.
Puerto Rico
by Roxanne of Faraway Worlds
Summer is a beautiful time to visit Puerto Rico. The weather is warm, and the rainy season hasn’t started yet. There also are fewer crowds than in winter, which is the busiest time of year for the island.
Instead, you can relax in the sun and enjoy wandering through San Juan with fewer tourists around. Be sure to explore a couple of San Juan’s historic forts – El Morro Castle and Fort San Cristobal are particularly impressive. The Puerto Rican Museum of Art is also fascinating, with works from local artists dating from the 17th century to the present.
Spend a few days relaxing on the beach, take a walk to one of the stunning waterfalls, and spend an evening visiting one of Puerto Rico’s bioluminescent bays for a special treat. Seeing the blue lights in the water is a magical experience.
The annual salsa music festival also takes place in March, which is a wonderful addition to your itinerary if you can fit it in. Experience a day of food, dance, music, and a vibrant atmosphere, shared with thousands of others.
Stay at Fortaleza Suites in San Juan with comfortable, spacious rooms in a convenient location.

Summer is an excellent time to visit the Canadian Rockies because you’ll have fewer crowds and save money on accommodation. One of the top things to do in Banff National Park is canoeing on turquoise lakes surrounded by epic mountain scenery. A popular hike in the area is Lake Agnes Trail, which passes along Mirror Lake and leads to a cozy Agnes tea house.

The country has coasts on both sides, the Caribbean and the Pacific Ocean, and is well known for its breathtaking natural scenery and exciting wildlife. Costa Rica is also known for its friendly people and relaxed atmosphere, so it’s a great place for parents and children alike to unwind from the rush back home.
Costa Rica is a great place to take children on Spring Break because it is one of the safest countries in Central America and is well accustomed to western travelers. In addition to the country’s generally high level of safety, Costa Rica is one of the most eco-friendly countries in the world. With that in mind, it’s no wonder that most of the activities and things to see here will have you out in nature.
One of the most popular family-friendly options for outdoor activities is ziplining in the rainforest in Monteverde. This one will be a favorite for the kids. Beyond that, in Costa Rica, you can snorkel, hike, surf, go animal spotting at night with a guide, or go kayaking in Manuel Antonio. Cabo San Lucas is a perfect destination if you want a mix of parties, great restaurants, and spectacular outdoor opportunities.
Whereas Cabo used to be known for its high-end resorts, things have changed: today, this town located in Baja California attracts a diverse range of travelers, including spring breakers, who love Cabo’s sunny climate and a variety of activities, from exploring the beaches to snorkeling, diving, and hiking.
Cabo San Lucas is also home to Lands’s End, with a famous arch that can be easily recognized. This area divides the Sea of Cortez from the Pacific Ocean into both sides of the Baja California Peninsula.
Many tours bring people to see the iconic rock formation, but you can also enjoy activities like kayaking or swimming near Lover’s Beach, where you can get dropped off by your boat.
If you want to see some of the most incredible gems in the region, consider renting a car to explore nearby places like Todos Santos, La Paz, and Cabo Pulmo.
Another popular activity in Cabo San Lucas is whale watching. From December through early April, you can spot gray whales, humpbacks, blue whales, and whale sharks all around the peninsula.
You must depart from different regional destinations depending on what kind of species you want to see.
Andalucia, Spain

Andalucia in southern Spain is a lovely destination. There are plenty of things to do for the entire family, and temperatures are lovely, with mostly sunny days. In fact, you might even spend days on the beach to soak up some vitamin D and build sand castles. But if you prefer hiking as an activity, this is a stunning time of the year to head to the Sierra Nevada mountains to explore waterfall hikes.
One of the favorites among families is the Cahorros de Monachil hike near Granada. This is also a great place to base yourself to explore the Alhambra palaces and to experience flamenco. There are also many wonderful villages in the nearby mountains. However, a favorite among families is to stay in Costa del Sol.
Many of the white villages near Malaga are a lot of fun for the kids, among them the Smurf Village of Juzcar, the Museum Village, the cave village of Setenil de Las Bodegas, and the witch village of Soportujar. A good choice is to rent a car and go on a road trip. This way, you can explore off-the-beaten-path places like the red river Rio Tinto in the Huelva Province and chase waterfalls in the lesser-known Puerto de San Nicolas in the Sierra de Sevilla natural park.

A mid-day trip to Lobos island, only 15 minutes by boat from Corralejo, is also a great plan as Puertito and La Concha’s beaches, both sheltered from the wind with calm waters that invite you to relax, are included in the top Fuerteventura beaches. Palm Jumeirah, JBR, and La Mer are among the best areas in Dubai to stay with kids. For a truly magical stay, Atlantis The Palm is the resort of choice and definitely worth the splurge. Panama

Just a short flight from many places in North America, Panama is your family’s perfect destination. With a focus on outdoor and nature experiences, Panama is home to gorgeous beaches, crystal clear water, abundant wildlife, and the Panama Canal.
Visit the rainforest in the Western town of Boquete and hike the Quetzal Trail, try rock climbing, or simply enjoy a coffee by the river. This is a fun and adventurous town with lots of activities and opportunities for a family adventure.
Panama has a long coastline bordering both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. In the west, visit the crystal clear water of Bocas del Toro and search for the famous sea stars. On the Pacific side, take a boat tour in the Gulf of Chiriqui and visit one of the islands in the marine park. Bring your snorkel or diving gear, or try kayaking in the mangroves. Closer to Panama City, the San Blas Islands are a true escape with incredible sand beaches and palm tree-covered islands.
One of the best attractions is the Panama Canal. Many tours take you out on the canal for a few hours. Make sure to head out on the Causeway Amador in Panama City, with excellent city views, museums, a large playground, and many restaurants.
There are many options for places to stay in Panama City. Consider the Waldorf Astoria or look for a place to stay in the Old Town.
Belize

A hidden gem of the Caribbean, Belize is a perfect destination for summer break. Belize is famous for its Big Blue Hole and the Great Mesoamerican Reef, which attracts thousands of divers because of its incredible corals and wildlife.
If you are an experienced diver, consider booking a trip to a Big Blue Hole – a huge natural sinkhole off the coast of Belize. This natural landmark is near the center of Lighthouse Reef, a small atoll 70 kilometers from the mainland and Belize City.
Places like San Pedro and Placencia offer some of the best diving in Belize, but you can also visit some of the cayes (or islands) located off the Belize coast if you want to dive or snorkel.
After you enjoy the water activities on one of the cayes, it’s time to head to mainland Belize. Whether you want to visit Lamanai Mayan ruins, go spelunking in Belizean caves or try to see some jaguars, this country is an endless treasure trove of adventures.
One of the best places to visit in Belize is San Ignacio, the largest town in the western part of the country near the border with Guatemala.
San Ignacio provides quick access to several Mayan ruins, such as Xunantunich, Cahal Pech, and Caracol. The area also has caves and zip lines in the jungle, which are perfect if you want to enjoy a real adventure.
One of the most popular day trips from San Ignacio is the famous Actun Tunichil Muknal Caves (ATM caves).
I hope you find something exciting and fun for your family.
